Welcome to IYANE

The Iyengar Yoga Association of New England (IYANE) is a non-profit educational and charitable corporation incorporated in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts whose purpose is to disseminate and promote the art, science, and philosophy of Yoga according to the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar throughout the six state region of New England in the United States: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership is open to any person willing to study, teach, disseminate and promote the art, science, and philosophy of Yoga according to the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar. Membership is not restricted only to those residing in the six New England states.

DUES

  • $60 for calendar year, January 1 to December 31.
  • $30 goes to IYNAUS for membership in national association.

  • Membership in IYANE also includes membership in the Iyengar Yoga National Association of the United States (IYNAUS).

IYANE’s first annual meeting

IYANE will hold its first annual meeting on Sunday, October 3, 2010, at Art and Soul, 91 Hampshire St., Cambridge, Mass. from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. The meeting is open to all members. Please join the Board of Directors as we review our first year and make plans for 2011. Directions to Art and Soul can be found here.

A free class for IYANE members will be taught by Greg Anton immediately before the meeting from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. also at Art and Soul. Space is limited so please pre-register by emailing Greg.
